Duraflex Price Increase in Effect Beginning January 1st, 2024
Duraflex has set a price increase for 1/1/2024 that will affect all diving boards, diving stands, and small parts including fulcrums and hinges.

DURAFLEX SLOTTED HINGE PLATE
NEW and IMPROVED – The Duraflex Anchor Fitting (aka “Hinge Plate”) is the cast aluminum piece that attaches to the top of a Durafirm One-meter or Three-meter Ladder Assembly. The Anchor Fitting now comes with slotted (oval) holes allowing for left to right adjustment making diving board alignment quicker and easier.

Torque Wrench with 15/16 Inch (24mm) Socket and 18 Inch (47cm) Long Handle (For putting correct amount of torque on diving board carriage bolts (110 ft/lbs. = 149 Newton/Meters)

Alaska’s Only Outdoor Diving Board
It might not be the be the best place to hold your college diving team training trip, but if you are looking for a beautiful place to get-a-way for rest and relaxation (and a little "chilly" springboard diving) why not check out "Quiet Place" -- in Halibut Cove, Alaska.
The only way to get here is by boat or float plane. Your hosts are Harmon and Pauli Hall and Family. Their two sons (Garrett and Ian) were divers at Homer High School and their dad (Harmon) who was also the high school diving coach decided they needed a diving board on which to practice during the summer months when they live in Halibut Cove so Harmon installed a Duraflex "Short Stand" with a 16' Modified Maxiflex Model "B" Cheeseboard so his sons could get some board time.
Water depth beneath the diving board varies from 15 feet to 40 feet deep (depending on the tidal pool). Oh yeah -- one more thing -- the water temperature is "balmy"45 - 50 degrees in the summer.
